Calvary Chapel North Buffalo

Our Ministry Philosophy

"Jesus having called them near, said, ‘You have known that the rulers of the nations do exercise lordship over them, and those great do exercise authority over them, but it shall not be so among you, but whoever may will among you to become great, let him be your servant; and whoever may will among you to be first, let him be your servant; even as the Son of Man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.'"

"Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over it, not because you must but because you want to, and not greedily but eagerly, as God desires. Do not lord it over the people entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock."

"He must increase, but I must decrease."

We endeavor to practice the servant leadership principles taught and modeled by Jesus Christ and His apostles.

Jason & Marine Henrichsen

Pastor Jason Henrichsen and his wife Marine have been married since 2008, and have three boys.

Jason began following Jesus as a young child, and grew up loving Jesus and attending Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa under Pastor Chuck Smith. Jason went astray in his teens years before finally coming to the end of himself and allowing God to really work on him in his twenties. Jason spent a decade in the business and financial sector before God called him to serve in pastoral ministry as a church planter. Jason is a graduate of Calvary Chapel Bible College with a DBS in Biblical Studies.

Born in France, Marine pursued her MBA in international finance. She was raised as a Catholic but was an ardent atheist until coming to faith in Christ in 2008. Marine is now a full-time wife, homemaker, and educator, and she serves in our children's, women's, and mom's ministries.

Jason & Marine are missionaries whose sending church is Calvary Chapel Hot Springs in Murrieta, California.
